  • Receives data from tyre sensors
  • Incorporates GPS location function
  • Stores sensor ID, wheel location and alert levels for tyre pressure and temperature
  • Transmits location and tyre data via GPRS to the remote database
  • Continues to transmit while the vehicle is parked

The TeleTPMS module has an internal battery that is recharged from the vehicle power supply.

Smart power and data management means that data is transmitted at appropriate intervals.  When the vehicle is parked it enters a power-saving mode but continues to transmit data. Status lights indicate operating mode and provide diagnostic information when required.

Communication and data transmission

Data is communicated via a GPRS (mobile phone) network and is provided as a service charged per vehicle per month.

TeleTPMS database

The database stores the data from the TPMS system and is accessible to authorised users via a web application from a computer, tablet or mobile phone. The application and access to the database are included in the monthly service charge. The following visuals indicate some possible user views of the basic data:

TyrePal commercial TPMS  sensors are for pressures up to 188psi and can be fitted inside or outside the tyres. External sensors simply screw onto the tyre valve in place of the standard dust cap, and a flow-through version enables the tyre to be re-inflated without removing the sensor. Internal sensors are mounted at the back of the valve. Each sensor has a unique ID and can be coded to any wheel position.

Smaller sensors for pressures up to 99psi are available for vans and cars and special sensors can be configured for OEM applications.

TCSE External Sensors

External sensors simply screw onto a tyre valve in place of the standard dust cap.

An Integral security shroud prevents them being removed without using a locking tool. If preferred they can be fitted without the security shroud.
Dimensions 28 x 24.5 (length x diameter) excluding security shroud, 29.5 x 29.5mm including shroud.
The TCSE External Sensor is powered by a replaceable battery that lasts 1-2 years.

TCSF Flow-through sensors

TCSF sensor only
Flow-through sensors screw onto the tyre valve in place of the standard dust cap and allow the tyre to be inflated without removing them. They are secured with a small hex key to prevent unauthorised removal.
Dimensions 52 x 26 x 23.5mm.
The TCSF Flow-through Sensor is powered by a replaceable battery that lasts 1-2 years.

TCSI Internal sensors

Internal sensors are installed inside the tyre so they do not interfere with the normal operation of the valve. They fit behind the valve, so the tyre must be removed to fit them.
Dimensions 60 x 31 x 20mm without valve.Valve stem is 70mm. (shorter stems are available on request)
The TSCI Internal Sensor is a sealed construction and is powered by a non-replaceable internal battery that lasts 4-5 years.

Smart Signal Repeater (trailer transceiver)


For trailers, a smart relay provides an automatic link to the correct trailer

For heavy or long vehicles such as buses or HGVs, a smart signal repeater is recommended to increase the data transmission range from the sensors in the rear tyres. In this application, it acts as a simple signal booster.

In fleets where trailers are regularly exchanged, a transceiver fitted to each trailer gives the trailer its own ID and alert settings.  When the trailer is connected, the system automatically connects to the correct trailer.

The smart relay operates from the 12 to 24V vehicle power supply and is supplied with a fuse-protected connecting lead.

Low pressure alert

In cab monitor gives a clear and immediate alert to the driver in the event of a problem

An in-cab monitor provides information for the driver and can be used together with the TeleTPMS system.

It is is particularly recommended for fleets subject to frequent punctures because it gives an immediate visual and audible alert to the driver in the event of a problem.
